They both possess vast amounts of experience in our key practice areas and will help our clients move seamlessly through the executive search process.
About Angie Engel, Partner
Angie Engel was previously senior partner for Lucas Group’s human resources vertical, specializing in HR search, where she was the #1 recruiter in the nation for her division. She has more than 15 years of human resources recruiting experience.
Angie specializes in the national placement of top-caliber human resources talent at senior executive levels from chief human resource officers (CHRO) and chief talent officers (CTO) to vice presidents and directors. She focuses on several functions, including organizational development, total rewards, talent acquisition, labor relations, talent management, strategic HR analytics, and HR systems positions.
Angie challenges her clients and candidates in the same way she challenges herself by “daring them to be great”. This simple but reflective philosophy has helped her consult with and lead her clients and candidates to make life- and business-altering decisions that positively affect careers and corporations for years to come.

About Gina Kubacik, Partner
Gina Kubacik, former president of Apex Global Search, Inc. in Chicago, brings more than six years of retained executive search experience to Sheer Velocity. Her strong work ethic, deep industry knowledge, and extensive professional network has helped her establish herself as a trusted search partner to her clients.
During the executive search discovery process, Gina works tirelessly to learn her clients’ critical needs and long-term business goals so she can make successful placements that align with their recruiting needs.
As a result, Gina is known for substantial repeat business from her clients. A sampling of her clientele includes global pharmaceutical companies; medical device companies; biotech, clinical and contract research companies; private equity companies; and early-stage companies.
Gina focuses on filling critical client roles, such as senior to executive level sales, business development, project management, operations, and C-suite placements.
